From May 2nd to 9th, 2015 the National Reading Campaign will create an exemplary model of what a reading Canada looks like. For one week, citizens of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, will weave reading into every aspect of their lives through a series of amazing events! Books 2 Eat

You are invited to prepare and exhibit an edible work of art based on books and reading. Join bibliophiles, book artists and food lovers to celebrate literature and create edible works of art evoking books by shape and/or content. The food can be a title, character or event.

Tiny Lending Libraries

Watch for Tiny Lending Libraries popping up on a lawn near you! Or find one at UPEI, Beanz Espresso Bar and several other locations around Charlottetown. A Tiny Lending Library is a box full of books where anyone may stop by and pick up a book (or two) and bring back another book to share.... Read more »
